FOOD PANTRY

 
Canned and dry goods donations to the CHRISTIAN ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, INC. (CAP) Food Pantry can be dropped off in the CAP closet when you come to Mass.  Items are delivered by volunteers to the CAP Food Pantry. In addition, volunteers are needed at the CAP Food Pantry, and financial support is appreciated.
 
The CAP Food Pantry is located at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8397 Piney Orchard Pkwy, Odenton, MD 21113. The CAP provides free food to qualified clients.  It also provides 175 families with food for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.  Hours of operation are TUESDAYS from 11 AM to 1 PM and THURSDAYS from 3-5 PM.  The CAP Food Pantry is closed if:
 
  • Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) are closed.
  • Tuesdays: if AACPS have a delayed opening due to weather conditions.
  • Thursdays: if AACPS have early dismissal due to weather conditions.
  • Closed July 4th, week of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
