Once again, St. Joseph will support Christ Child Society by providing Christmas gifts for 70 children in need from our local communities through our Advent Outreach project. We will be collecting close to 500 wrapped Christmas gifts and your support is crucial to the success of our efforts.

As we did last year, we will be using Sign Up Genius as our format for gift information distribution and volunteering. All gift information distribution and volunteer sign up will be done through 4 different Sign Up Genius links. The links are currently available for you to select the gifts that you would like to purchase. If you do not already have one, you will need to create a Sign Up Genius account in order to access the links. All links are also available on the parish’s Facebook page.

There is one link for parishioners who would like to purchase all 7 gifts for one child.

There is another link for parishioners who would like to purchase one or maybe a few gifts for one or more children.

There is a link for those that would like to help collect and store gifts after masses.

Below is the link to volunteer for Bag and Tag on Sunday, December 3rd. We ask that all volunteers be 14 years or older.

NEW REQUIREMENTS FOR VOLUNTEERS
Given that we will have volunteers under the age of 18, all volunteers 18 and older must have VIRTUS status of Volunteer with Substantial Contact with Children if you will be volunteering to help store gifts after masses or assisting with Bag and Tag. All volunteers ages 14-17 must complete the AOB Teen Volunteer Application and complete the Worthy of the Call Training (the next training being offered is November 12th at 4p.m.). We ask that all volunteers be 14 years or older.
It is very important that you read all of the information contained on each link as that is where you will find everything you need to know about properly labeling gifts, where to return them and when to return them.
