Q: Who is welcome at St. Joseph Masses?

You are. No matter who you are, where you come from, or where you are in your spiritual journey, you are welcome at St. Joseph Parish.

Q: I haven’t been to a Catholic Mass in a while. How will I know what to do?
It is easy to follow along.  Liturgy slides are displayed on the walls of our sanctuary and offer a step-by-step guide so you can fully participate.  All of our weekend liturgies are livestreamed and can be viewed on-demand on our PARISH WEBSITE and on the SJC FACEBOOK PAGE.  Weekly worship aids are emailed out to parishioners and posted on the SJC FACEBOOK PAGE for those worshipping online.

Q: What is the Mass about anyway?

The Catholic Mass consists of two parts:  the Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist.  Simply put, in the Liturgy of the Word, Jesus feeds us with His words and teachings through scripture readings and a homily.  In the Liturgy of the Eucharist, Jesus feeds us with Himself, as we follow his death and resurrection, culminating in the celebration of the Eucharist.

Q: I haven’t been to Reconciliation in a while. What if I don’t remember what to do?

Even if you haven’t been to Reconciliation in a while, the Lord wants you to come back.  The priest can help guide you, but more information can be found here:
