Town Hall Meeting August 28  8/28/16  (12:30 PM)
All parishioners are invited and encouraged to attend the parish "Town Hall" meeting on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 12:30 PM in Corrigan Hall. The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) will discuss our parish's mission and strategic plan for the coming years, and seek your feedback on any issues important to you. Help us shape our parish for the future, and let your voice be heard!

Men's Retreat - Save the Date!  9/08/16
The fall ACTS men's retreat will be held from Thursday evening September 8 through Sunday afternoon September 11 at Bon Secours Retreat Center in Marriotsville, MD. ACTS is an acronym for Adoration, Community, Theology and Service. The goals of an ACTS retreat are to strengthen our faith, to renew ourselves spiritually and to build lasting friendships. The ACTS retreat is presented by lay men and spiritual direction is provided by clergy. All men age 18 or older are invited to attend. Parish Picnic  9/11/16  (12:30 PM - 4:00 PM)
Join us on Sunday, September 11 from 12:30 to 4:00 pm for this festive, parish-wide family event! Featuring a live DJ, moon bounce, cotton candy stand, corn hole, volley ball and much more. Hamburgers, hot dogs, lemonade and iced tea will be provided. A sign-up sheet is available in the back of the church to RSVP and to volunteer to bring a side dish or dessert to share. We have a great time planned, all we need is you! Celebrate our parish family on this very important date where we will also honor those lost on 9/11 during the 11:00 Mass. BINGO 40th Anniversary  9/14/16  (6:30 PM)
On Wednesday, September 14, we will proudly mark our 40th anniversary of Bingo at St. Joseph. Please help us celebrate in style by coming out to play and bringing a friend or two! It is great fun for everyone with $5,000 available for you to win. A free gift comes with every admission and free cake and ice cream will be provided at intermission. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Hope to see you there! Someone’s gotta win – why not you?!

Haiti Sister-Parish Spaghetti Dinner  10/01/16  (6:00 PM)
The Annual Spaghetti Dinner to celebrate our Sister-Parish relationship with St. Peter’s of Poteau Haiti will be on Saturday, October 1 at 6 PM in Corrigan Hall. Tickets will be on sale beginning September 9 & 10 after all the Masses: $5 for adults and age 3 and under free. The meal includes salad, spaghetti and meatballs, bread and dessert. Beer and wine on sale. Our special guest will be Fr. Jean Mérat, the pastor of St. Peter’s of Poteau Haiti.

Volunteers Needed!
Volunteers are needed for sauce preparation (sometime before the Saturday of the dinner), and the day of the Spaghetti Dinner (Oct. 1) for set up (10 AM- 12 PM), cooking (2-5:30 PM), serving (5:30-7 PM), and clean up (7:30-8:30 PM). Annual Holiday Craft Fair  12/03/16  (9:00 AM - 1:30 PM)
Our Dec. 3 Craft Fair will have plenty of vendors to shop from as well as fresh wreaths for sale, bake sale, raffles, door prizes and a concession stand. Come spend the morning with us and get some Christmas shopping done. It is sure to be a fun time that will also benefit the youth group workcamp trip.
